ABOUT US

The North Park Business and Neighborhood Foundation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2019 to support economic and quality of life initiatives in San Diego’s historic North Park community.

The Foundation – abbreviated to the North Park BANF – consists of a volunteer board of directors comprised of neighborhood residents and business owners. The BANF supports the neighborhood by leveraging donation and grant funds to spur investment, placemaking, volunteerism and special community events.

Leading up to the launch of the North Park Mini Park in 2022, the BANF launched a fundraising program selling customized pavers to be placed in the park upon its completion. These funds will be dedicated to activation and maintenance at the new community park site. More than ten years in the making, the park will open in January 2022.
